President Message
April 2013

Hello All,

Our opener this season will again be Memorial day weekend in Greenfield, Mass with the Good Sam Chapters. Scheduled events include nightly entertainment, lobster supper and our laptop.pngannual Saturday volunteer effort, the blood drive. Also keep in mind that the Shriners tab collection effort is on that weekend so please round up those tabs. Highlight of the weekend period will be the Award winning band, American Country Band, on Saturday night. Please join us, your registration form in included in this newsletter and on our web site. Our business meeting will also be included in this weekend period.

Our multi-Club June rally at Quonset Point RI has been impacted by the recent sequestration vote. As you know government funding has been either reduced or eliminated in certain instances. As the result the Blue Angles as well as the air show itself has been grounded! So Charlie and I have been working on an alternate game plan to replace and equal our Quonset RI air show weekend.

Join us in Syracuse NY, June 13th through the 16 th for the Camping World/ Good Sam Rally, four days of good times, great entertainment and all things RV at the Empire Expo Center. On center stage will be the Queen of Country music, Reba McIntyre as the featured performer. Later entertainment will include Mr Las Vegas, Wayne Newton. Also included in this weekend will be Food Network's Surreal Gourmet, Bob Blumer. Additionally you may cheer on your favorite dog at the "Empire State Dogs' dog show and enjoy Exciting Optional Tours including Niagra Falls.

As I mentioned this is a work in progress and much more information will follow including parking arrangements. We are advised that every effort will be made to park us together using the code # 45876 on your registration form. That application form is now available on their site www.therally.com. Please let us know if you are interested in signing up for this rally so that we can be on the lookout for you. A reminder that you are responsible for the signup of any and all activities including registration and the tours of interest to you. See you there!

Charlie said it all in his message, please be on the lookout for places to go and do not hesitate to come forward with an idea or suggestion when it comes to a rally. Please keep that in mind as you travel around this summer.

Be sure to check out this entire issue of your newsletter, Anne has included the minutes of our business meeting and the Chapter Officers election results that took place at the Dunroamin golf course rally last September. Dave Buker is our newly elected National Director. Thanks Dave and welcome aboard. Dave will be with us in Greenfield for our business meeting but will be leaving from there for the National Rally in Gillette, Wyoming. A very special Thanks to my fellow Chapter Officers for their continued support. Thanks Charlie, Anne, Patty, Sue, and Leo, our webmaster.
